Wishlist - Sunshine Coast Hospital Foundation

Wishlist is a Charity Partner of Sunshine Toyota and a local not-for-profit organisation dedicated to raising funds for local Sunshine Coast Health and Hospital Services. Sunshine Toyota has been a proud supporter of Wishlist for many years and in 2014 we strengthened that commitment by becoming an Alliance Partner.

We support Wishlist in many ways which include:

• Providing vehicles used by the Extended Midwifery Service
• In 2016, 2017 & 2018 we proudly took the naming-rights sponsorship for the Wishlist Melbourne Cup Charity Luncheon, a high-end race day event that has so far raised over $110,000 for hospital equipment. 
• We also have a special deal in place for Hospital and Health Service employees where we donate $250 back to Wishlist for every vehicle they purchase.

Our team is proud of our Alliance Partnership with Wishlist and demonstrates this by volunteering for Wishlist fundraisers like Wishlist Giving Day, Give Me 5 For Kids, Christmas Wrapping for Charity and the Wishlist Fun Run.

Alex Surf Lifesaving Club

What’s one of the best parts about living on the Sunshine Coast? The gorgeous beaches that are right next to us! What does this mean for our community? That Surf Life Savers are absolutely necessary to help keep beach goers safe and that the Surf Life Saving is a community cause close to every Sunny Coaster's heart!

At Sunshine Toyota, we've been proud supporters of the Alex Surf Club for over 15 years now and during this time have provided vehicles, equipment, sponsorship and signage that help make the Alex Surf Club synonymous with the Sunshine Coast. With programs like Nippers, beach kindy for our daycare kids, and surf sports programs that support local athletes, the Alex Surf Club does amazing community work for the Sunshine Coast and we couldn't be prouder to partner with them!

Sunshine Coast Falcons - NRL Club

At Sunshine Toyota, we're proud to partner with the Sunshine Coast Falcons, a fairly new partnership that commenced in the 2021 season. The SC Falcons are the Sunshine Coasts' premier Rugby League club competing in the Intrust Super Cup, QLD's highest level of rugby league. They also play a huge role in supporting local athletes on the Sunshine Coast!

The Falcons were the Minor Premiers in the 2019 season and a Grand Finalist in Intrust Super Cup of the same season. It’s not uncommon to see players move on into the NRL which shows how much talent sits with this club!

We recently began our relationship with the Sunshine Coast Falcons to help support our local sporting teams. Through our partnership with the Falcons, we’re aiming to aid the development of the club and its team members, which will help support our community.

Sunshine Toyota is a proud supporter of The Buderim Foundation

August of 2015 saw Sunshine Toyota proudly become a major sponsor of local not-for-profit organisation, The Buderim Foundation. Now in its 11th year, the Foundation is a philanthropic organisation that aims to enrich and enhance the quality of life for the Buderim community by generating income from donations and bequests and providing grants for worthwhile community projects.

Last year over $60,000 in grants was presented to local groups, schools and individuals. The Foundation has also done a wonderful job establishing philanthropic programs at a number of schools in the area and Sunshine Toyota is enthusiastic to assist in growing these programs further.

The Buderim Foundation has recently set up a Youth Sub Fund and has provided over $70,000 in its Youth Philanthropy Projects as well as community grants specifically for youth-oriented projects, not to mention over $100,000 channelled into the school community in the form of school vouchers. We see this sponsorship of the Buderim Foundation as an exciting way to involve the whole team at Sunshine Toyota in strengthening the community and supporting the next generation of Sunshine Coast leaders.
