Sunshine Toyota’s Young Driver Information Night

Sunshine Toyota is passionate about the education of road safety for our guests, the Sunshine Coast wider community and especially for our new and future drivers. We believe it is important to empower learner drivers with the knowledge of what to do in the case of an emergency on the roads, as well as have some basic understanding about their car and how to keep it running safely. This is why we are hosting a FREE L-Plate and P-Plate Information Night on Wednesday 14th of March 2018, at Sunshine Toyota on Nicklin Way in Currimundi.

Who will be speaking at the event?

We have a very exciting group of guest speakers who are kindly donating their time to come to this important event. This includes:

• Queensland Police Services
• Queensland Fire & Emergency Services
• Right Turn Driving School
• Sunshine Toyota Technicians

What will be covered?

The event will cover a range of important topics as well as give attendees the chance to have hands on practical training from our service technicians and exciting demonstrations from the Police as well Fire and Rescue Services. A lot of these topics are often not explained to learner drivers until after something has happened, so we feel it is important for young drivers to have some understanding on how to handle a situation at hand. Topics will include:

• How to check tyre pressure
• How to put air in tyres
• How to change a tyre
• How to check oil and fluids
• How to jumpstart a car
• How to perform a breath test
• What to do in the event of an emergency
• What to do when a emergence vehicle is behind you
• Jaws of life
• Importance of professional driving lessons
• Tips for buying a quality used car

What else will be included in the event?

We will provide all attendees with snacks and refreshments to keep you going through the event. We will also provide gift bags as well as give out prizes for pop quiz questions (so make sure you pay attention). Attendees will also receive a voucher for driving lessons with Right Turn Driving School as well as a voucher for a Used Vehicle from Sunshine Toyota!
