Sunshine Toyota’s Young Driver Information Night
Sunshine Toyota cares about the road safety for our customers, the Sunshine Coast community and for all future drivers. We understand the great importance of young, learning drivers having the fundamental knowledge of what to do in the case of an emergency on the roads, as well as have some basic knowledge about their car and how to keep it running safely. This is why we are hosting a FREE interactive information night for local L & P-Plate drivers!
Date: Wednesday August 14th 2024
Time: 5:30pm - 7pm
Location: Sunshine Toyota, 689 Nicklin Way, Currimundi.
Who will be speaking at the event?
We have a very exciting group of customer speakers who are kindly donating their time to come to this important event. They include:
- Queensland Fire & Emergency Services
- Right Turn Driving School
- Sunshine Toyota Technicians
What will be covered?
The event will cover a range of important topics as well as give attendees the chance to have hands-on practical training from our service technicians and exciting demonstrations from the Qld Fire and Rescue Services. A lot of these topics are often not explained to learner drivers until after something has happened, so we feel it is important for young drivers to have some understanding on how to handle a situation at hand. Topics will include:
- How to check tyre pressure
- How to put air in tyres
- How to change a tyre
- How to check oil and fluids
- How to jumpstart a car
- What to do in the event of an emergency
- What to do when an emergency vehicle is behind you
- Jaws of life
- Importance of professional driving lessons
- Tips for buying a quality used car
What else will be included in the event?
We will provide all attendees with snacks and refreshments to keep you going through the event. We will also provide gift bags as well as give out prizes for pop quiz questions (so make sure you pay attention).
