That’s why we’re proud to announce our newest community partnership with Grab Life by the Balls, a grassroots men’s wellbeing movement making a big impact right here on the Sunshine Coast.

About Grab Life by the Balls

Founded locally, Grab Life by the Balls is all about encouraging mateship, meaningful connection, and conversations that matter, especially when it comes to men's mental health. Through casual meetups, events, and community activities (often over a coffee or snag), they create safe spaces for blokes to show up, speak up and support each other.

The reality is, suicide is the leading cause of death for Australian men aged 18–44. Far too many blokes suffer in silence, often because they feel isolated, ashamed, or unsure how to speak up. Grab Life by the Balls is working to change that, not through formal therapy or complicated programs, but by getting back to basics: a chat, a coffee, a laugh and a reminder that you’re not alone.

Their message is simple but powerful: life’s better when we connect and it’s okay to talk about the tough stuff.

Why This Partnership Matters

Grab Life by the Balls believes that prevention starts with connection. By creating relaxed, pressure-free opportunities for men to connect with one another — whether it’s a catch-up over coffee, a beach BBQ or a casual local event, they’re building the kind of support networks that can make a real, life-saving difference.

Their goal is to help reduce the national suicide rate by encouraging men to open up early, before they hit rock bottom. And it’s working.
