The coating creates a hard, protective layer that keeps your paintwork glossier for longer and makes cleaning easier. 

But even with Fusion Quartz, your Toyota still deserves the right care. Here are our top tips to keep it looking its best:

1. Wash in the shade

Fusion Quartz repels dirt and water, but direct sunlight can still cause streaks and water spots. Choose a shady spot or wash early in the day for the best results.

2. Use pH-neutral products

Avoid harsh household detergents as they can interfere with the coating. Instead, choose a pH-neutral car shampoo that works with Fusion Quartz to lift away dirt safely. If you had Fusion Quartz applied, you would have been supplied with a specific car care pack including a car wash detergent that best suits your vehicle.

3. Start from the top

While it seems logical, it shouldn't go without saying, when washing your car it's best to work your way down from the roof, rinsing regularly. Thanks to the ceramic coating of Fusion Quartz, dirt and grime won’t cling as stubbornly, making this process much quicker.

4. Keep wheels separate

We always recommend using a different sponge or brush for your wheels. Brake dust and road grime can be gritty and keeping the sponges (and water buckets) separate protects the smooth finish of your paintwork.

5. Dry with microfibre

Fusion Quartz makes drying easier, but to avoid watermarks, use a clean microfibre towel or chamois. You’ll notice how quickly the water beads away.

6. Skip the wax

Unlike untreated cars, you don’t need to apply wax. Fusion Quartz already provides long-term protection and that brilliant gloss finish, so you can enjoy a low-maintenance shine.
