myToyota Connected Services are subject to certain restrictions and inaccuracies which are beyond the control of Toyota, including availability of the telecommunications mobile network and GPS location positioning^[TL1]

Operational service quality and accuracy are limited to the reception and transmission of data supporting myToyota Connected Services. Dependent on the 3G/4G enabled DCM, GPS signal strength, mobile network coverage through the Telstra network and other factors outside Toyota’s control which can limit the ability or functionality of the system. myToyota Connect is Toyota Australia's official smartphone app that helps you stay connected with your Toyota. The app allows owners to access vehicle information, book services, view owner resources and use Connected Services features on compatible Toyota vehicles.

Depending on your vehicle, you can view vehicle information, monitor vehicle status, manage service bookings, locate your vehicle, access Connected Services features and enjoy additional ownership benefits through the app.

The myToyota Connect app can be downloaded free from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Some Connected Services features may be subject to trial periods, subscriptions or vehicle eligibility.

Compatibility varies by model and vehicle specification. The easiest way to check whether your Toyota supports Connected Services is to review your vehicle details in the app or refer to Toyota's Connected Services compatibility information.

Simply download the app, create an account, verify your email address and add your vehicle using its Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). Eligible vehicles can then activate Connected Services through the app.

Your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is a 17-character code that can usually be found on your dashboard near the windscreen or within your vehicle registration and ownership documents.

Some compatible Toyota models allow access to remote features such as climate control and vehicle status information through Toyota Connected Services. Available features vary between models.

Toyota Connected Services use built-in vehicle connectivity to deliver features such as vehicle status updates, vehicle locator functionality, driver insights, notifications and selected remote vehicle controls through the myToyota Connect app.

Eligible vehicles can use the Vehicle Locator feature to display the vehicle's last known location, making it easier to find your Toyota when parked.

Yes. Compatible vehicles can provide information such as fuel levels, odometer readings and vehicle status information directly through the myToyota Connect app. 

Yes. The myToyota Connect app is available for both Apple and Android devices.

Yes. Data used by the myToyota Connect app is subject to your mobile data plan and any associated charges from your mobile provider. 

Toyota incorporates security measures to help protect customer and vehicle information. Users should always keep their account details secure and use strong passwords when accessing connected services.

If you sell your vehicle, you should remove it from your myToyota Connect account and review any active Connected Services subscriptions associated with the vehicle.
